ITG Larson Inc. is Hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist Near White Plains, NY
ITG is a fast growing and Dynamic security integrator for the Tri-State area.
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing pay applications, assisting with banking activities, processing due payments and assisting in the overall responsibilities of the accounting department.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the Accounts Payable processes and act as the primary contact for all Accounts Payable related questions keeping appropriate parties updated and informed.
- In tandem with the Project Managers and Operations, ensure that pay apps cover all costs incurred from the subcontractors and overhead, as well as encompass accurate projection percentages for work complete onsite.
- Support the company in optimizing our financial transactions and processes by performing reconciliation of payments and customer accounts, as well as determining billing status for each open project (open balances to bill, open change orders, etc)
- Request certified copies of all pay applications submitted to clients for confirmation of timely approval of funding.
- Request funding updates from all clients for open billings on a monthly basis, and follow up weekly for overdue payments.
- Attend AP meetings with Project Managers to discuss collections or any billing revisions needed.
- Ensure clients have the required close out documents to approve payments
- Other duties as assigned*
Qualifications
- 2 years Accounts Payable responsibility
- Some experience with the Service/Technical field
- Some Compliance experience
- Ability to take the initiative and get things done independently
